Trans Catalina Trail Adventure 1 Night All-inclusive Package
Widely considered one of California's most scenic hiking trails, the Trans-Catalina Trail stretches 38.5 miles from the east end of the Island to the west end. Finishing and ending at the Island's two major hubs, the TCT winds up hills and down valleys, challenging hikers with rugged terrain and rewarding them with spectacular ocean views and unique wildlife. The Trans-Catalina Trail provides a fascinating in-depth vision of an island that most travelers only glimpse. Managed by the Catalina Island Conservancy, hiking the trail supports their efforts in preserving and protecting the island in perpetuity.
This adventure package is a once-in-a-lifetime excursion includes a 1 night 2 day experience on the TCT. Your hike is fully supported by local outfitter Catalina Backcountry, a second-generation Catalina Island adventure company.
This package includes:
- Round trip boat ride from Dana Point or Newport Beach
- All required permits and hiking maps
- Transportation to and from trailhead
- Fully supported hike. Your gear will be transported for you to your chosen camp-site, meals will be cooked for you or provided from a local vendor and on-trail assistance is available
- One night of recovery at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, A National Geographic Unique Lodge including spa treatments and all meals.

Catalina Backcountry Day Package
Take a day trip to Catalina and experience the wild backside. Step beyond the Catalina that most visitors experience and into an untamed adventure, where eagles soar, waves crash and the horizon stretches out beyond your imagination. Let us take you on an outdoor expedition that you won't ever forget. After we are done exploring the backcountry you will have the opportunity to relax and shop around Avalon as you wait for the ferry back to the mainland.
The package includes:
- Round trip boat ride from Dana Point or Newport Beach
- Pick up directly at boat from Catalina Backcountry Crew
- Lunch at DC3 grille
- Catalina Backcountry patch and Catalina Conservancy trail map
